Structural Engineering Professional Intermediate – NW Region As a Structural Engineering Professional Intermediate – NW Region, you will be an integral member of our design team, responsible for performing significant portions of structural analysis and design for projects spanning semiconductor manufacturing, data centers, and advanced industrial facilities. Responsibilities include: Under general supervision, competently perform conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis and design. Develop judgement in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria with guidance. Apply engineering judgement and problem‑solving skills, reaching out for guidance when needed. Develop and apply principles and practices of lateral (wind and seismic) analysis and design, including required US building code provisions. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality control: self‑check work and verify peers' calculations. Manage workload, meet schedule, budget, and quality commitments, taking full ownership of the structural scope. Take initiative on tasks with ill‑defined conditions, forecast effort, identify scope changes, and communicate them to the Structural Lead. Work timely, accurately, and cost‑effectively with strong attention to detail. Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. At least 2 years of structural engineering experience. Experience with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ideally you will also have: MS degree in Civil Engineering (emphasis in Structural Engineering) or Structural Engineering. Experience with structural engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam. Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures. Experience in semiconductor industrial or general industrial facilities. Additional requirements: Your home location must be in the Northwest region of the US (AK, ID, MT, OR, WA, or WY) or Canada.
