Accounting Clerk Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $14.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• You will work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise balance the workload.
• Responsible for handling accounts payable including: receiving receipts from purchasing,’ matching receipts with invoice, preparing interoffice memos for the Executive Director for approval of payment, entering invoices into system for payment.
• Responsible for posting move-out charges to resident accounts.
• Balances Resident Accounts Receivable on a weekly basis.
• Assists with the close-out of TAR’s monthly.
• Serves as back-up to the receptionist. Assists with rent collection, answers telephones and distributes/accepts applications as needed.
• Responsible for daily and monthly close-out of rent office adhering strictly to standard procedures. 

Accounting Clerk Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic accounting systems and procedures.Knowledge of inventory control procedures
• Ability to apply bookkeeping principles to the maintenance of standard fiscal and accounting

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
