Position Details:
CT/Rad Tech- Baker, MT
Location : Baker, MT 59313
Duration : 13 Weeks contract
Salary Range : $60/hr - $65/hr
Shift Timing : 10 hour day shift

Job Summary
The CT/Radiologic Technologist performs both computed tomography (CT) and diagnostic X-ray procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The technologist is responsible for patient preparation, positioning, imaging equipment operation, contrast administration when applicable, image quality, and adherence to radiation safety and patient care standards.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and general radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients before and during imaging procedures.
• Operate CT scanners and diagnostic X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
• Administer contrast media as ordered and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission for interpretation.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation in EMR, RIS, and PACS systems.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Perform routine equipment quality checks and report malfunctions or maintenance concerns.
• Assist with emergency, trauma, inpatient, and outpatient imaging procedures as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active state Radiologic Technologist license, as applicable.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• ARRT CT certification (CT) required based on facility requirements.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Previous experience performing both CT and Xray.
• Experience with EMR, RIS, and PACS systems preferred.
