Medi-Cal Estimate Analyst

Responsibilities Use statistical and other quantitative estimating techniques to independently plan and design study approaches and research methodologies. Compile, analyze, and interpret data used in the development of estimates of costs or savings affecting the Medi‑Cal program. Analyze Medi‑Cal expenditure data to determine expenditure shifts and trends, and design and conduct research to create special reports that analyze and explain changes in expenditures. Reason logically and creatively to analyze and explain data, develop estimating methodologies and assumptions, and use a variety of analytical techniques to provide necessary projections. Review and analyze legislation, regulations, and policy initiatives for their impact on assigned programs. Minimum Requirements Analyst II classification. Salary range: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month. Desirable Qualifications Excellent Microsoft Excel software skills. Excellent professional verbal and written skills. Experience working in forecasting, budgets, or accounting. Knowledge of the Medi‑Cal program. Familiarity with researching policies, legislation, and statutes. Telework May be eligible for telework up to three days per week; required to report in‑person and site‑based a minimum of two days per week.
