Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Nurse Lead

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2169 - $2614 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

In the role of Labor & Delivery Nurse Lead, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care to mothers and their newborns. Your leadership and expertise will guide the team through challenging yet rewarding scenarios, significantly impacting the lives of patients and their families.

• Oversee and mentor the Labor & Delivery team during night shifts
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Maintain precise and timely documentation
• Engage in staff training and professional development
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant setting
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience required
• Experience as a Charge Nurse is mandatory
• Certifications needed: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (obtained within the last 2 years)
