This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, supporting our counselors in achieving a healthy work-life balance while delivering care. The work schedule is full-time, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying individual care needs and developing tailored treatment approaches.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focusing on emotional challenges related to aging, loss, and transitions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and social workers, to create and maintain comprehensive care plans that address the holistic needs of our senior residents.

• Implement cognitive stimulation programs and therapeutic interventions designed to enhance the mental acuity and overall well-being of our older adult clients.

• Lead grief counseling sessions for clients and their families navigating end-of-life issues, providing support and guidance during this challenging time.

• Educate clients, families, and staff on strategies to improve mental health and overall quality of life, emphasizing preventative care and wellness strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits\n
