Housekeeping & Laundry Aide (Full-Time) – Long-Term Care

Hudson Springs Nursing & Rehab is hiring a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeping & Laundry Aide to support resident safety, comfort, and dignity through high-quality environmental services. This role is essential to infection prevention , maintaining a clean care setting, and ensuring linens and resident laundry are handled with care and confidentiality.

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas using approved products and processes

• Follow infection control , PPE , and safety procedures at all times (including isolation/precaution rooms as assigned)

• Perform routine and terminal cleaning tasks per facility schedules and standards

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver facility linens and resident personal laundry according to protocol

• Use proper bagging, labeling, and separation practices to prevent cross-contamination

• Safely operate commercial washers/dryers and other equipment; report equipment issues promptly

• Maintain a clean, organized laundry and housekeeping area; restock supplies and report low inventory

• Report maintenance concerns, spills, safety hazards, or unusual conditions immediately

• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality while working in resident care areas

• Hours: 40 hours/week

• Status: Part-Time, every other weekend

• Location: 5000 Sowul Blvd, Stow, OH 44224

• Prior housekeeping and/or laundry experience preferred (long-term care, hospital, assisted living, or hotel)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning and infection control procedures

• Dependable attendance and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

• Ability to work respectfully around residents and families in a care environment

• Experience with commercial laundry equipment is a plus
