Right at Home Wilmington, a non-medical home care agency in Wilmington, NC, is seeking an experienced Home Care Staffing Coordinator to manage caregiver scheduling, client coverage, and caregiver recruitment. At least one year of experience scheduling caregivers, field staff, HHAs, CNAs, or similar personnel in home care, home health, hospice, or healthcare staffing environment is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively, is comfortable using technology, and remains calm and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment. Experience managing multiple schedules, last-minute call-offs, and staffing changes is strongly preferred. Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm, with participation in a rotating after-hours-on-call schedule. Salary: $45,000 annually, plus additional compensation for on-call responsibilities. Approximately 70% of this role is dedicated to caregiver scheduling, staffing coordination, and client coverage management. Approximately 30% of this role is dedicated to caregiver recruiting, hiring, and retention activities. Scheduling Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions: • Scheduling activity will be focused on managing client and caregiver schedules to ensure every shift is staffed and clients' schedules are properly assigned. • Serve as primary point of contact for caregivers and clients, regarding scheduling. • The Staffing Coordinator develops strong relationships with clients and caregivers to create the best possible matches based on availability, personality, location and care needs. • Record caregivers' and clients' correspondence, needs and availability in scheduling software. • Participation in a rotating after-hours-on-call schedule every other week. On-call responsibilities include responding to caregiver call-offs, client concerns, and staffing emergencies. Additional compensation is provided for on-call responsibilities. • Assist with emergency staffing coverage when necessary to ensure continuity of care for clients. • May be asked to perform other duties by owner/operations manager. Recruiting Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions: • The Staffing Coordinator will work closely with HR to source, attract, interview, hire and onboard caregivers. • Manage the entire recruitment cycle, including, but not limited to sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, hiring and onboarding activity, verifying past employment, and checking references. By managing the schedule and recruiting the best caregivers, you get to have an impact on the quality of life not only for our clients, but also for our caregivers by giving them meaningful, rewarding work. Success in this position is measured by: • Maintaining high schedule fill rates • Minimizing open shifts • Recruiting qualified caregivers • Caregiver retention • Client satisfaction • Timely communication with caregivers and clients Qualifications: • At least 1 year of experience with scheduling software such as ClearCare/Wellsky, AxisCare or similar systems preferred. • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Ability to work collaboratively and independently to get things done • Effective communication, orally and in writing • Detail oriented • Able to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced environment • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and general internet use, including using social media platforms. • Able to operate standard office equipment including, computer, phone, fax, printer/scanner, etc. • Positive energy and strong desire to work as a team • High school graduate or equivalent • Possess a valid driver's license and use of insured automobile • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record.
