Job Title: Contract RN - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Proficiency in triage and ESI Emergency assessment skills Medication administration experience Management of critical patients Description: Emergency Department has 9 beds and 17 total staff. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 4 patients to 1 RN. It is a fast-paced environment requiring strong critical thinking and adaptability. Candidates should exhibit calmness under pressure and good communication skills. A fun and team-oriented attitude is highly valued. Typical procedures performed include: Triage Medication administration Moderate sedation IV insertion EKG and cardiac monitoring Trauma and emergency stabilization Weekends are required, with rotating shifts and no on-call responsibilities.
