Job DescriptionPay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
Hourly-Depending on experience.
Schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off
Full Time: Weekly pay
We are seeking a Frac / Diesel Truck / Equipment Repair Mechanic to perform services on heavy-duty trucks and equipment in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, North Dakota, and Pennsylvania.
Duties of the Diesel-Heavy Duty Truck / Equipment Mechanic may include:
- Perform diagnostics, trouble shooting and put together repair plans.
- Computer diagnostic experience a plus but not mandatory.
- DOT inspections understanding a plus but not mandatory.
- Evaluate Performance of all drive train component work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, steering systems.
- Ability to install, adjust or align brakes, and wheels and wheel components such as bearings and air brake and valve systems to diagnose and repair braking and valve systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on all units as scheduled
- Other tasks as assigned
Types of Equipment :
Light/Medium and Heavy-Duty Trucks Diesel Engines, 12 volt vehicle electrical systems.
Trailers, Gas Compressors, Lube Systems
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 year Diesel Mechanical Experience/Training.
- Must have own tools
- Basic understanding of OSHA, Fire Protection regulations
- Follow all Safety, Personal Protective and Equipment Policies.
- Must be able to repair all DOT required items, change tires as needed
- Has a general knowledge of lube systems
All applicants must have a professional appearance, valid drivers license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Successful candidate will possess and use his/her personal hand tools.
