Assistant Managers Assistant store managers will assist owners with the operation of a profitable store that is focused on exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations. Responsible for all aspects of managing a single store including hiring/scheduling, developing and managing a team focused on the customer and assisting with buying product. Assist with the oversight of day‑to‑day store operations to achieve sales and profitability goals, customer acquisition and customer retention. Accountable for inventory quality control, budgeting, including labor cost and operational expenses. This is a hands‑on, led by example position. Responsibilities Assist the Retail Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers Coordinate daily customer service operations Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives Monitor and maintain store inventory Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates Suggest sales training programs and techniques Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning Handle complaints from customersResearch emerging products and use information to update the store’s merchandise Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff Strong verbal and written skills. Qualifications Must live, eat and breathe fashion! Stellar knowledge of young adult fashion and brands plus designer. Vintage a plus!
