HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families and communities for health,justiceand hope.The Home Visitor will provide parenting information, resources, and support to highly stressed parents as a member of the Relief Nursery team at A Family Place. This involves providing intensive home visiting services, group facilitation as needed,and alsobeing a lead staff member inproviding regular respite opportunities for families. Spanish speakers are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a full‑time Position at 1 FTE (37.5 hours per week) Which requires the ability to work some evening hours. Work collaboratively with staff, interns, volunteers, and community partners to support the mission of keeping children safe and families together. Maintain a caseload of 15–20 families, ensuring complete andaccurate documentation, including releases, medical information, and emergency contacts. Conduct home, community, and site visits, which may include transporting families to and from community resources(in personalcar)and AFGP events; assess child development using evidence‑based tools, provide resources/referrals, and deliver crisis support when needed. Communicate developmental goals and progress to families, model positive interactions, and promote problem‑solving skills. Provide regular planned respite care as lead teacher and ensure inclusive practices for children with disabilities. Advocate for families and coordinate services, includingrepresenting AFGP at community and IFSP meetings. Apply principles of diversity, equity, cultural sensitivity, and trauma‑informed care in all family interactions. Participate in professional development and supervision, attending meetings, trainings, and weekly reflective supervision sessions with the Program Supervisor.

HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:

1year of related experienceworking with families with multiple risk factors and knowledge of the community. Associate’s/ Bachelor’s /master's in early childhoodor related field ORO Step 9 orbachelor's degree in early childhood or education.Credentials may be required depending on individual program or location requirements. Fluency in English, both spoken and written Basicmastery of business applications and productivity suites Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges,conflict and obstacles/barriers. Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end‑user experiences throughout the service lifecycle Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations Successfully completes tasks in amoderately noisyenvironment Interactswith others and performs tasks in‑person andthrough the use oftechnology, withmoderateperiods of stationary activity andmoderateperiods of increased physical activity Moves equipment/materials weighing up to40pounds; maybe responsible formoving/carrying children weighing up to40pounds in emergency situations Travels between worksites regularly; responsible for transporting clients in personal and/or agency vehicle, which requires valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and motor vehicle records clearance Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community‑based settings, client home/community settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, and faith‑based settings such as churches Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job‑relevant clearances as required by the State or program, must be enrolled in the Central Background Registry (CBR), Oregon Dept of Early Learning and Care Registry Thank you!
