State Licensed Senior Counsel

To support its legal department, a full-time State Licensed Senior Counsel will serve as a key advisor on marketing compliance and commercial contracts, reviewing marketing materials for legal adherence, and drafting and negotiating technology agreements in a remote capacity. Key responsibilities Review and ensure compliance of marketing collateral with federal advertising laws and intellectual property requirements Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial technology and vendor agreements, focusing on SaaS and software licensing Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide timely legal advice and support business growth while managing legal risks Required qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing of at least one state bar Five to seven years of legal experience, particularly in advertising law compliance and commercial contract negotiation Experience reviewing marketing materials for compliance with FTC regulations and intellectual property laws Hands-on experience with SaaS agreements and a strong understanding of intellectual property principles Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
