Technical Lead - Microsoft Integration Azure with .Net C#, VB.Net, ASP.NET Web Api framework. 1. Job Title :Cognizant is looking for Microsoft Azure expert 2. Job Summary : .NET C# VB.Net ASP.Net SQL Server DB2 - Expertise in developing SOAP WCF Web API REST services using .Net C# VB.Net. - Hands-on experience in creating Web / Micro Services using ASP.NET Framework. - Sound knowledge in SQL development (creating procedures functions & complex queries) using SQL Server and DB2. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good to have skills - Experience creating build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy. - Hands-on experience in developing and implementing Azure Cloud based solutions including Azure APIM Azure App Services Azure Functions Logic Apps Service Bus. 3. Shift :9 am to 6 pm EDT. 4. Roles & Responsibilities :Sr. Developer Bachelors in engineering or equivalent.The role of Senior Developer exists IN ORDER TO understand requirements build codes support testing and fix defects and guide developers in the course of development activities WITH the objective of developing high standard stable codes WITHIN the limits of the Cognizant processes standards and guidelines. 5. How many Years of Experience are you looking for? 8+ What are the top 3 Must Haves for this role? 1. Mandatory Skills Minimum of 8+ years overall IT industry experience. Proficient in building class libraries, Object-Oriented principles and Design Patterns, SOLID principles. Expertise in developing and consuming SOAP, WCF, REST services using .Net, C#, VB.Net, ASP.NET Web Api framework. Hands-on experience in developing solutions in Azure APIM, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus. Sound knowledge in SQL development (creating procedures, functions & complex queries) using SQL Server and DB2. Experience working with automated unit test tools like MSTest/NUnit or similar. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Self-starter and can work independently. Experience working in Agile project development. Good-to-have skills Experience creating build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy. Responsibilities Estimate size of backlog items Evaluation of technical feasibility Translate backlog items into design and break them into logical tasks Implementation of backlog items Develop code and unit tests adhering to the acceptance criteria Apply development best practices
