This is not intended to be a long-term holding role; continued success requires clear progress toward VP-level readiness.

About the Role

The Senior Associate, Investment Sales is a deal leader within Senwell’s Investment Advisory Team. The primary responsibility of this role is deal execution: helping lead transactions from active listing through closing. The Senior Associate will manage key deal workstreams, support buyer and seller communications, drive timelines, coordinate diligence, evaluate transaction materials, and help move deals toward successful outcomes.

This role is designed for someone who can lead deals from the start, while building the judgment, client leadership, and transaction experience needed to advance into a Vice President role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day deal execution from active listing through closing, ensuring timelines, workstreams, and deliverables stay on track.
• Prepare, manage, and refine client-facing materials, deal documentation, buyer communications, and transaction process materials.
• Own core deal infrastructure, including deal rooms, buyer lists, outreach tracking, photo coordination, data room setup, and due diligence request management.
• Lead or support client kickoff calls, buyer webinars, buyer calls, and other transaction-related meetings with accuracy, professionalism, and strong preparation.
• Coordinate market outreach, NDA execution, buyer communication, and follow-up to maintain momentum throughout the transaction process.
• Drive underwriting information gathering by identifying required inputs, coordinating with clients and internal team members, and recognizing deal-specific nuances that may affect positioning or output.
• Review LOIs, offers, and transaction materials to identify key terms, business issues, risks, and red flags for discussion with senior leadership and clients.
• Anticipate transaction issues, escalate concerns early, and help develop practical recommendations to keep deals moving toward successful outcomes.
• Communicate clearly with senior leaders on deal status, next steps, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
• Support and mentor junior team members by setting expectations, reviewing work product, and helping build their transaction execution capability.
• Contribute thoughtful input on deal positioning, pricing, structure, buyer strategy, and execution approach.
• Demonstrate readiness for Vice President-level responsibility through increasing ownership, sound judgment, client leadership, and consistent deal execution.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success leading or being near-the-front of complex deals, transactions, or projects from planning through execution.
• Strong command of deal execution, including client materials, process management, diligence coordination, stakeholder communication, and follow-through across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to own core processes independently, anticipate issues, reduce senior leader workload, and bring structure to fast-moving or ambiguous situations.
• Experience participating in client-facing, buyer-facing, investor-facing, or executive-level interactions, with the communication skills and judgment to grow into broader relationship leadership.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgment, including the ability to understand financial information, evaluate business drivers, recognize key assumptions, and identify risks or red flags.
• Ability to synthesize information, evaluate options, and communicate clear recommendations to senior leaders or clients.
• Emerging leadership capability, including the ability to guide, support, or mentor junior team members
• High attention to detail, strong organizational discipline, and consistent follow-through across competing priorities.
• Professional maturity, ownership mindset, and ambition to grow into a Vice President-level role.
