In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing field crews, managing job sites, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. If you're someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates clearly, and enjoys mentoring others, we'd love to have you on our team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise electrical crews on commercial and industrial job sitesInterpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installationsCoordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to keep projects on scheduleEnsure compliance with NEC, local codes, safety protocols, and company standardsOrder materials and manage job site logisticsTrain, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and journeymenMaintain detailed job records and daily reportsTroubleshoot and resolve onsite issues in real timeQualificationsMinimum 5 years of field experience in commercial or industrial electrical work Proven leadership experience as a Foreman or Lead Electrician Strong working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Journeyman (required) or Master Electrician license (preferred) Commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing learningWhy Sioux Falls Electric?Competitive salary, based on experience Full benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement with 3% match Paid time off, holidays, and generous work-life balance Support for personal and career development through training, certifications, and mentorship A culture that prioritizes family, integrity, and doing things the right way
