Job Title
Essential Functions
- Physical tear down of electronic systems utilizing various tools and methods
- Physical sorting of components into segregated categories
- Consolidating, packaging, labeling, and inventory control on segregated materials
- Operating an inventory management system through proper inventory identification and labeling
- Quality verification on segregated and ready to ship materials
Other Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborating on continuous improvement projects related to operational efficiency, safety, and management systems
- Track, record, and report work/goals progress
Required Skills/Abilities
- Solid understanding of telecommunication electronic components and peripheral hardware.
- Willingness to work hard and stay motivated.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills
- Proven experience in electronics disassembly, sorting, or recycling processes, preferably with telecommunications electronics.
- Solid understanding of electronic components, their functionalities, and identification.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used in electronics disassembly and sorting.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices related to electronics recycling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously to ensure accurate sorting and recording of components.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Knowledgeable about company's products and services, and customer-related policies.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to operate general office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, scanners and copier.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.

Qualifications, Education and Experience/Training
- Must pass a background check based on R2 standards for handling sensitive data.
- Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test.
- Experience safely using forklifts, lift trucks, and hand trucks highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to regularly lift, carry and move up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Must be able, on occasion, to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Able to complete physically demanding work.
- Good hand-eye-foot coordination and sense of balance.
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This will include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping.
- Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
- Prolonged periods standing or walking.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
- Must be able to work on components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.
- Must be able to visually inspect equipment.
- Excellent depth perception and reaction time.
- Must be able to see details at close range.
- Must be able to wear protective equipment for eyes/ears/feet.
- Ability to maintain single-task focus and situational awareness.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
- On occasion, may work in a variety of weather including extreme heat and cold.
