Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse - $2,204 per week

Role Summary Travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a 13‑week assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Key Details Specialty: Neuro ICU Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts) Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Document patient responses to nursing interventions, record changes in physician orders. Assist physician with examination and performance of minor diagnostic procedures. Obtain and monitor physiologic data, observe manifestations, intervene as necessary. Administer medications as prescribed; initiate, regulate and monitor IV infusions and blood products. Deliver competent patient care. Interact with patients and families, sharing care plans during hospital stay and at discharge. Inform patients and families of hospital procedures. Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegate tasks to support staff. Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred). Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a valid multistate compact RN license (eNLC). Current basic life support (BLS) certificate issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certified within 6 months of hire. Experience in an ICU setting, preferably Neuro ICU. Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain professional relationships and respond to cultural and language needs of patients. Basic computer proficiency. English language proficiency (read, write, speak).
