Senior Technology Manager - Data Analytic Platforms

Position Summary This role leads enterprise‑scale data platform modernization and technology transformation initiatives that support critical business and regulatory outcomes. The position drives strategy, funding, and execution for large, complex programs—including platform upgrades, infrastructure scaling, application migrations, and AI enablement—while ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence. The role partners closely with executive leadership, builds and develops high‑performing engineering teams, reduces technical risk and debt, and advances innovation through modern architectures, automation, and DevOps practices. Risk Management & Compliance: Strong background in vulnerability remediation, OS upgrades and automation strategies to reduce technical debt and improve efficiency. Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Track record of delivering AI/GenAI solutions, decommissioning legacy platforms, and implementing cost‑efficient in‑house models. Strategic Program Delivery: Successful execution of large‑scale application migrations, platform upgrades, and modernization initiatives supporting critical regulatory programs. Organizational Engagement: Active participation in executive leadership programs and innovation councils. Responsibilities Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives. Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans needed to build competencies and skills. Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met. Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization. Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain. Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers. Required Qualifications Over a decade of leadership experience driving large‑scale data platform strategies across data lake, warehouse, and distributed computing systems. Proven leadership in enterprise data architecture, driving scalability, reliability, and modernization of complex analytics platforms. Oversight of security and identity integration, including large‑scale AD/Kerberos implementations to strengthen enterprise data governance. Experience in cluster optimization and performance engineering, ensuring efficient resource management and operational excellence. Broad technical leadership spanning infrastructure, data engineering, automation, and modern development practices. Strong champion of DevOps, automation, and continuous delivery, advancing engineering efficiency through tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and Bitbucket. Track record of building high‑performing engineering teams, uplifting standards for monitoring, alerting, and operational resilience. Desired Qualifications Experience working on Big Data Technologies, Hadoop, Teradata, Databricks, Snowflake, etc. AI/ML Platform Integration. Multi/Hybrid Cloud Solutions.
