Description

• Assess patients in inpatient and outpatient settings to create personalized treatment strategies
• Deliver physical therapy interventions concentrating on mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise regimens
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and advancements in line with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork during care rounds and conferences to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is desirable
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not essential

• Previous relevant experience is strongly encouraged
