Senior Business Financial Analyst

Experience Required: 8–10 years of finance experience Summary Our client is seeking an Business Financial Analyst to sit within a business management function with a strong finance focus. The hire will support the CISO and is responsible for financial forecasting/variance, CapEx/OpEx, working with large financial datasets (e.g., GL and AP data), producing accurate and concise reports, and building dashboards. A key function is driving the process: managing budgets, tracking outstanding invoices, and forecasting the financial impact of hiring—much of which is currently handled manually. The new hire will transform raw financial data into clear summaries, dashboards, and visuals for senior leadership, and should bring a process‑improvement mindset. Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow SPM and Coupa is beneficial; experience with comparable systems is acceptable. This role serves as a critical right hand for budget management, identifying discrepancies and potential overruns. Responsibilities Support the CISO with financial forecasting and budget management/CapEx-OpEx. Work with large financial datasets including GL and AP data. Produce accurate, concise reports and build dashboards for senior leadership. Track outstanding invoices and forecast the financial impact of hiring decisions. Transform raw financial data into clear summaries and visualizations. Identify budget discrepancies and flag potential overruns. Apply a process‑improvement mindset to reduce manual workflows. Utilize tools such as ServiceNow SPM and Coupa (or comparable systems). Skills Experience in financial analysis, business analysis, operations, or process improvement. Proactive personality to drive departments toward financial deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Familiarity with process mapping and project management tools.
