Journeyman Service Electrician

$28-$36/hr DOE

We are currently hiring experienced Journeyman Service Electricians with 5+ years of experience performing electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work in commercial and industrial environments. Job Duties

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Perform electrical service calls for commercial clients
• Inspect electrical systems and identify code violations or safety concerns
• Repair and replace breakers, panels, receptacles, switches, lighting systems, transformers, and other electrical components
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Test electrical systems using meters and diagnostic equipment
• Communicate findings and recommend solutions to customers and project managers
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current NEC codes and safety standards
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately

Journeyman Service Electrician Requirements

• 5+ years of recent electrical service experience in commercial and/or industrial environments
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing electrical panels, lighting systems, motors, controls, and distribution equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
• Knowledge of current NEC codes and safety regulations
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license
• Must provide own hand tools and PPE (safety gear)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
