Position Overview
The Whistling Kettle is looking for a reliable, detailoriented Prep Cook / Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. If you enjoy working in a fastpaced environment and take pride in consistent, quality prep work, wed love to meet you. If you enjoy working behind the scenes, take pride in consistency, and want to grow in a supportive culinary environment, youll fit right in. What Youll Do
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes
- Assist with sauces and batch cooking
- Maintain clean, organized prep and storage areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Support line cooks during busy periods
- Process and clean dishes
- Prep or kitchen experience preferred (well train motivated candidates)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Teamoriented and dependable
- Flexible scheduling (weekends are required)
