Sr Cybersecurity Engineer (AI Security)

Salary: $116,500 - 192,300 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for 4+ years of experience in a technical, engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, or similar role.
• We need proven experience designing, securing, or operating cloud-based solutions, including hands-on work with at least one major cloud platform and its configuration-management tools.
• We expect working knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning concepts, model lifecycles, APIs, and large language model technologies.
• We value experience with security architecture reviews, threat modelling, technical risk assessments, or security testing.
• We need the ability to turn strategic goals and technical AI risks into practical requirements, controls, and recommendations for different stakeholders.
• We look for strong hands-on capability with scripting, automation, cloud, security, or machine-learning tools, alongside solid analytical, written, verbal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• We seek deep artificial intelligence expertise, including a track record of delivering advanced AI solutions, leading innovation efforts, managing AI-related risks, and supporting ethical governance and responsible AI adoption.
• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or another equivalent technical discipline, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

• We will develop and maintain our AI and model security architecture, standards, and technical roadmap.
• We will identify and implement security controls across the artificial intelligence and machine learning lifecycle.
• We will assess AI, machine learning, and large language model solutions for prompt injection, data leakage, model manipulation, adversarial inputs, insecure integrations, and unauthorized access.
• We will provide hands-on support for security testing, architecture reviews, threat modelling, control implementation, and incident investigation.
• We will define secure configuration requirements for cloud-hosted AI services, machine learning platforms, pipelines, APIs, and containers.
• We will work with engineering teams to embed security controls into development, DevSecOps, and deployment processes.
• We will create monitoring approaches for model behaviour, misuse, data exposure, configuration drift, and emerging threats.
• We will contribute to AI governance, risk assessments, exception management, incident response, and compliance activities.
