Trading Associate

Role Description This full-time Trading Associate role is an on-site position (locally remote is a possibility) based in Rehoboth Beach, DE. The Trading Associate will execute trades in accordance with firm guidelines, client objectives, and compliance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring markets, reviewing trade orders, reconciling positions, and assisting with trade allocation and settlement processes. The role will support advisors by preparing trade reports, maintaining accurate trading records, and responding to internal inquiries related to trades and account activity. The Trading Associate will also contribute to ongoing process improvement, help implement trading best practices, and collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality client service. Qualifications Background in placing moderate volume trades, with an understanding of order types, market mechanics, and trade execution workflows. Solid finance knowledge, including portfolio concepts, investment products, basic risk management principles and understanding of tax consequences in trade implementation. Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify discrepancies, and support informed trading decisions. Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and accurately documenting trading activities. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and comfortable working independently with trading and portfolio management systems. Commitment to ethical standards, regulatory compliance, and confidentiality in handling client and firm information. Prior experience in a trading, operations, or investment support role at a financial institution is preferred. This position will need to rely heavily on prior skills and our custodian, Charles Schwab, to build processes and incorporate top tier technology into our practice. #J-18808-Ljbffr
