Senior Estimator

An established and growing construction organization is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead complex Design-Build and EPC estimates across a diverse portfolio of projects and clients. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving estimating strategy, managing risk, and delivering accurate, defensible cost proposals that support successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Lead estimating strategy and oversee full-cycle Design-Build and EPC proposal development Manage estimating teams through preconstruction services and workload scheduling Drive risk review processes and develop fee, contingency, and escalation recommendations Review and approve subcontractor solicitations, bid packages, pricing, bonds, and insurance quotes Validate equipment pricing, general conditions, indirect costs, and commercial terms Present estimates to internal leadership and external clients with professionalism and credibility Oversee joint venture estimate reviews and contract partnering strategies Maintain cost history databases and ensure compliance with estimating methodologies Review scope documents for gaps/overlaps and validate clarifications and assumptions Mentor and train junior estimators and support staff Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 7 years of direct project estimating experience Strong background in Design-Build and EPC project delivery OSHA 10-hour certification required Expertise with Microsoft Office, ConEst, and K-base Proven ability to think analytically, manage risk, and make sound decisions under deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills What You’ll Bring Strategic leadership in preconstruction Strong commercial and contractual acumen Confidence presenting estimates to executive teams and clients A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed #J-18808-Ljbffr PTS Advance
