Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Verification in Bradenton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a food and beverage manufacturing location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, support a welcoming environment, and contribute to site operations through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring, reliable approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
• Screen and direct incoming deliveries, contractors, and vendors in accordance with facility procedures and applicable food production requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
