Procurement & Supply Chain# Regional Procurement & Supply Chain LeaderLocation+ Houston, Texas, United States**Job Description**As the **Regional Procurement & Supply Chain Lead**, you will oversee and manage procurement and supply chain operations within the designated region, ensuring regional business and functional needs are met, Fugro's businesses are equipped swiftly and efficiently to perform their geo-data services, and global category strategies are implemented at the right total cost of ownership. This role demands a **strategic thinker with exceptional leadership** and **interpersonal skills**, whilst demonstrating a **hands-on mentality** to guarantee the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services and the seamless operation of the supply chain to support the company’s businesses You will act as a **key business partner,** working closely with various business and functions to align procurement and supply chain strategies with the overall business objectives. Internal alignment with global procurement and supply chain is key to success in the role.You will report directly to the Regional Head of Finance for the Americas Region.**Your role and Key Responsibilities:****Business Partnering*** Act as a strategic partner to functions, business, and service lines, understanding their needs and aligning procurement and supply chain strategies accordingly.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Legal, to support business objectives.* Provide expert advice and insights on procurement and supply chain-related matters to senior management.* Drive business value through procurement excellence, focusing on P2P and S2C**Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Management*** Develop in cooperation with global category management and implement procurement categories and supply chain strategies to drive cost savings, ensure high-quality standards, and optimize the flow of goods.* Manage regional procurement and supply chain budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with financial objectives.**Supplier & Vendor Relationship Management*** Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors to meet the organization's needs.* Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.* Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.**Logistics & Inventory Management*** Optimize logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.* Manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimize costs, and ensure product availability.* Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve supply chain performance.**Operational Excellence*** Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement and supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.* Manage risk and ensure business continuity through effective supplier management and contingency planning.* Develop and build a point of view on how digital solutions can improve the way of working, leveraging technology to streamline processes and drive innovation.**IFS Implementation & Source to Pay Process*** Support the successful implementation and embedding of the Fugro ERP system (IFS) and related “add-ons” (implementation within the region.* Drive adoption and compliance with the source-to-pay process, ensuring all procurement activities are aligned with the company's standards and policies.* Actively support the implementation of an efficient Procure-to-Pay process in a Shared Services Centre environment.* Sponsor training and support staff on IFS functionalities to maximize utilization and benefits.**People Management*** Directly oversee, coach, mentor, and manage Procurement and Supply Chain team(s).* Provide coaching, mentoring, and development for the team and other internal stakeholders.* Drive employee engagement (eNPS) score improvement.* Provide routine feedback to HR and the Regional Head of Finance on personnel issues such as performance, daily attendance, cooperation, technical abilities, and capabilities to complete job requirements, overall cohesiveness of the team members, etc.**QHSSE & Compliance*** Oversee the procurement process and supply chain operations to ensure compliance with company and industry standards, QHSSE policies, and federal, state, and local regulations.* Contribute to the realization of the sustainability and compliance goals and targets.* Drive the rollout of the selected sustainability and compliance tools in the region.**Minimum Requirements:*** Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.* Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.* At least 15 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a minimum of five (5) years in a leadership role.* Possess a proven track record in strategic procurement, supplier management, supply chain optimization, and contract negotiation.* Possess strong project and change management skills.* Proficiency in procurement and supply chain software.* Possesses strong business acumen and can act as a strategic business partner.* Must have strong negotiation and contract management skills.* Must have a strong understanding of strategic procurement, supply chain optimization, and logistics management.* Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.* Certification in procurement and supply chain management (i.e. APICS) is a plus.* Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.At Fugro, our people are our number one priority and central to our purpose to create a safe and livable world.
