Principal Solutions Architect (AWS Alliances)

Salary: $175,000 - 233,666.67 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 7 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Partner Engineering, or Technical Alliances, including 3+ years in a cloud or SaaS environment.
• We need deep AWS expertise across compute, networking, identity, security services, and marketplace operations; AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification is strongly preferred.
• We need experience working within or alongside a cloud provider partner ecosystem such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including co-sell motions, competency programs, or marketplace integrations.
• We need strong project management capability with a proven track record of managing multiple parallel workstreams, tracking milestones, driving accountability, and delivering on time across cross-functional teams.
• We need a strong communicator who can adapt technical detail for field SE audiences, AWS partner contacts, and VP/C-suite stakeholders.
• We need comfort using AI tools, including generative AI assistants and AI-enabled research or productivity tools, to accelerate enablement, documentation, and reporting.
• We need familiarity with CRM and Salesforce pipeline workflows, as well as partner relationship management tooling.
• We need to be able to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship; we cannot provide visa sponsorship of any kind.

• We serve as our primary technical link to AWS, building and sustaining relationships with AWS Partner SAs, Technical Account Managers, and the Amazon Bedrock team.
• We lead our AWS technical enablement strategy by designing and delivering structured programs for our field SEs and AWS customer-facing SAs so both sides of the co-sell motion stay aligned on our solutions and joint architectures.
• We drive AWS competency application workstreams, including design wins, technical validation, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
• We apply disciplined program management across partnership initiatives, owning milestones, accountable owners, and deliverables for enablement, competency applications, co-sell pipeline, and executive reporting.
• We support and advance AWS Marketplace and co-sell execution, including Salesforce-tracked pipeline management, PRM tagging, and opportunity hygiene with field co-sell teams.
• We help shape the strategic narrative for our AWS and AI/agentic architecture motions, including integrations with Amazon Bedrock and related frameworks.
• We produce executive-level reporting and synthesize partnership activity from Zoom transcripts, meeting notes, Slack, and CRM data.
• We partner with field marketing on AWS-focused demand generation, EBC planning, and joint event participation.
• We create and maintain technical assets such as architecture diagrams, integration guides, demo environments, and partner-facing solution briefs.
• We support VP-level escalations and executive briefings when partner commitments or timelines are at risk.
• We drive AWS Marketplace technical strategy and tactics, including PRM, ACE alignment, and AI co-sell development.
