Temporary Custodian Position
Lincoln Elementary School is looking for a temporary custodian for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year and through the summer to help keep our school clean, safe, and running smoothly. This is a great short-term opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income. College students are welcome to apply!
About the Role
This is a temporary part-time (7 hour) position to assist with and provide coverage when we are short-staffed.
What You'll Do
- Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
- Empty trash and restock supplies
- Set up and take down furniture and equipment for school activities and events
- Perform minor repairs and report maintenance needs
- Help maintain school grounds and outdoor areas
- Respond to spills and unexpected clean-up needs
- Secure the building at the end of shifts
What We're Looking For
Dependable and able to work independently
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay active throughout shifts
Experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings, including a custodial physical
