About the Position

Job Title: Paramedic Profession: Paramedic Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Iowa or National Paramedic Certification Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - 2+ years of experience - Prehospital experience required - Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult) Description: Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance. Background checks must be fully cleared prior to starting. No exceptions will be made regarding background check requirements. Drug tests must be a 10-panel screening, including opiates. Titers must be current within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB. Candidates should be prepared to assist in the Emergency Department as requested. The position requires a team player who is focused on patient care. Completion of a paramedic program is required. Dress code consists of black or blue pants and black shoes or boots. Uniform top will be provided. No unacceptable attire is listed. This position has a weekend hour requirement. No call requirements are in place for the role. A total of two openings are available: one for day shift and one for night shift.
