Superintendent - High-End Residential, Commercial (Santa Barbara)

Established (40+ Years) Full Service General Contractor Seeking Superintendent near Santa Barbara or Ventura An established general contracting firm with over 40 years in business is seeking a Superintendent with 5-10+ years of experience to oversee projects spanning from Ventura to Santa Barbara. These projects include tenant improvement commercial (private schools) and ground-up high end residential homes. Offer:100k-120k+Comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance401(k) planPaid vacation and holidaysQualifications:5-10+ years of experience supervising high-end residential construction and commercial projectsExperience with tenant improvement and ground up projects Strong understanding of all construction phases, from grading to interior finishesProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Procore, and SmartsheetExperience managing RFIs, daily reports, submittals, and other construction-related documentationOSHA certification, first aid, and CPR training are beneficial but not required (training provided)Must reside in near Ventura or Santa Barbara Counties and be willing to travel to job sitesResponsibilities:Supervise and evaluate subcontractors, addressing performance issues promptlyMaintain and update project schedules using Smartsheet or similar softwareMonitor project expenditures, identify variances, implement corrective actions, and manage RFIs to stay within budgetEnforce safety standards, coordinate with staff and subcontractors, resolve issues, and assist with change orders to achieve project goalsMaintain a safe work environment by following legal regulations, conducting weekly safety meetings, and enforcing safety protocolsStay updated on emerging construction practices and standards to continuously improve job performance
