Licensed Practical Nurse

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including oral, intravenous, subcutaneous, and intramuscular routes.Monitor and record vital signs, observe residents for changes in condition, and report significant findings to the supervising RN or physician promptly.Provide wound care, including dressing changes, and manage other treatments such as IV therapy, catheter care, tracheostomy care, and ostomy care.Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and feeding.Collect specimens for laboratory testing and perform basic diagnostic procedures.Maintain accurate, timely documentation in residents medical records in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff as appropriate.Provide emotional support to residents and their families, and communicate effectively about care plans and health status.Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
