Senior .NET Technical Project Manager Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Delivery
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the .NET project is executed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of .NET applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Monitor code quality, testing, and deployment processes to ensure technical integrity.
- Stay updated with emerging .NET technologies and industry trends.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Provide regular project status updates, highlighting progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Lead and motivate the development team, including developers and analysts.
- Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and promote collaboration and productivity.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and control costs effectively.
- Ensure optimal resource utilization and resolve resource constraints.
- Proficiency in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure, and other Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proven experience managing .NET development projects from initiation to completion.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Adaptability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on .NET projects. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex software solutions.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
- Microsoft certifications related to .NET or Azure (optional but advantageous).
