Registered Nurse - Vaccinations

A-Line Staffing is Hiring Registered Nurses in St Charles, MO A-Line Staffing Solutions is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a leading retail pharmacy chain with nationwide immunization programs. These are full-time, contract roles focused exclusively on administering vaccines in a retail pharmacy environment. Pay Rate $50 per hour. Schedule Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (40 hours/week) No weekends Due to the project’s short-term nature, no schedule accommodations or time off will be permitted for vacations, appointments, or secondary jobs. Requirements Active RN license in the state you’ll be working. Minimum of 6 months clinical experience. Active CPR or BLS certification. Comfortable administering a variety of vaccines, including COVID and Flu. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience administering a high volume of vaccines. Responsibilities During times with no scheduled vaccine appointments, proactively engage customers throughout the store to educate them on available vaccination services, assess interest, and offer immunization screenings in accordance with program guidelines. Assess and administer vaccinations of all patients assigned to you. Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Demonstrate competency in patient care standards required for safe delivery of immunizations. Assess patients via screening for immunizations, complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Manage time effectively and demonstrate basic leadership qualities to proactively deliver and manage appropriate patient care. Coordinate with Walgreens liaisons to arrive at the appropriate site for administration of vaccinations. Document service provided in an acceptable time frame during or immediately after care using the Vaccine Administration Record (VAR). Communicate changes in patient status to appropriate staff to facilitate prompt attention to patient needs. Maximize work efficiency through the use of computers and other technologies. Effectively use available technology to communicate with Walgreens liaisons and during vaccination clinics. Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned. Effectively communicate with agency staff, Walgreens liaisons, long-term care facility staff, patients, and families. Under the direction of the patient’s consent, safely administer vaccines in a manner consistent with established standards of practice and policy. Promptly communicate with the patient’s physician and supervisor regarding problems, changes in status, need for other team involvement, and goal attainment. Thoroughly report patient care needs, progress, and goals when transferring care to an alternate nurse. Join a team that is helping keep communities healthy across the country.
