United Clearing Services, founded in 2021, provides critical vegetation management, emergency restoration services, and right-of-way tree trimming to utility companies across Texas. We specialize in trimming, growth regulation, and vegetation mitigation around utility infrastructure to reduce the risk of damage from wind, rain, rot, and overgrowth. Our mission is to deliver safe, high-quality, and cost-effective storm clearing solutions with a strong team-first approach.

We are currently hiring a Crew Leader to directly supervise field crews on the job site. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the crew works safely and efficiently, developing and training crew members, coordinating daily assignments, and maintaining excellent client communication.

Top Responsibilities

• Organize, supervise, lead, and train crew members to complete utility vegetation projects safely and on time
• Coordinate with management to establish schedules, follow job specifications, and manage materials and equipment
• Inspect job sites weekly, maintain punch lists, and strictly implement all company safety guidelines
• Communicate professionally with onsite clients, respond to requests, and keep managers informed of any concerns
• Oversee the equipment preventative maintenance program and ensure tools are properly serviced

Work Environment

• Full-time role with 10–12 hour shifts (may require up to 7 days/week during storm season)
• Rigorous outdoor environment requiring continuous standing, walking, body twisting, and frequent lifting
• Frequent climbing on/off trucks, gripping, reaching, stooping, and squatting
• Weekend and holiday availability required, along with flexibility to work at different locations as needed

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with reliable transportation to and from daily startup locations
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and consistently wear required PPE
• Proven ability to plan, assign, and direct field work while maintaining sharp attention during dangerous tasks
• Strong communication and leadership skills to train employees, handle equipment management, and resolve customer issues
• Physical capability to traverse various terrains and meet the demanding physical requirements of the field
