Assistant Manager

This position is Friday-Sunday Part-Time

Assistant manager is responsible to ensure guest satisfaction by processing transactions efficiently and professionally, maintain the overall store appearance and properly preparing the deli products. The assistant manager is also responsible for maintaining proper control of all cash and product and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. The assistant manager will oversee all store operations and provide leadership and direction in the absence of the store manager and will assist the store manager in training and mentoring new and current employees.

Ability to process information/merchandise through computer or POS register system.

Ability to communicate professionally with guests and co-workers.

Ability to read, count and write accurately to complete all documentation.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to operate, use and properly care for all store equipment.

Ability to lift, handle or move merchandise throughout the store generally weighing up to 50lbs.

Ability to work varied hours/day.

Ability to work as a team and independently with minimal supervision, self-motivated.

At least 18 years of age.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong decision making and judgement skills.

Ability to be adaptable and flexible.

Ability to lead and motivate others.

Completes other duties as assigned by management.
