OTR Flatbed Company driver (W-2) Job in Westland, MI by HMD Trucking

Requirements - 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- 6 months of flatbed experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits

- CPM $0.70 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Vacancy description
Haul flatbed freight coast to coast with a safety-first carrier.
Your Responsibilities:
- Solo operation of flatbed trailers under DOT guidelines
- Secure loads—tarped or not—and complete pre-trip inspections
- Maintain logs and communication with dispatch
Truck Amenities:
- Sleeper cabs, APUs, inverters, removable rider seats
- 24/7 in-house maintenance on a 500+ vehicle fleet
