Responsibilities
Provide high-quality ER nursing care during night shifts to stabilize patients.
Monitor vitals, respond to changes, and escalate as needed using clinical protocols.
Accurately triage and assess patients upon arrival and assign priorities.
Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in electronic health records.
Contribute to performance metrics by documenting outcomes and achieving nightly targets.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
Maintain professional growth by pursuing ongoing learning and competency development.
Support on-site leadership in shift handoffs and maintaining a smooth workflow.
Utilize nursing pipelines and data to forecast patient load and staffing needs.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and post-discharge care.
What you must have:
Strong critical thinking and emergency assessment skills
Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilitiesPassion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
Ability to adapt quickly in a constantly changing environment
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active Oregon RN License
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
$41 - $52 per hour
