A nationally recognized vertical apparel retailer is seeking a Buyer to drive category strategy for a growing region. In this role, you'll own the product assortment for your assigned category, leveraging an existing global product line while tailoring selections to regional customer preferences, sales performance, and market trends. This is a highly collaborative position offering visibility across merchandising, planning, and allocation, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on business performance.

• Own the assortment strategy for an assigned product category, selecting from an established global product line to meet regional customer demand.
• Analyze sales, margin, inventory, and market trends to make data-driven buying decisions that maximize profitability and sell-through.
• Balance trend-right product selection with financial performance, ensuring assortments align with both customer expectations and business objectives.
• Partner closely with Planning, Allocation, Merchandising, and cross-functional teams to optimize inventory, forecasting, and in-season performance.
• Monitor business results and react quickly to opportunities and risks through assortment adjustments and strategic recommendations.
• Stay informed on competitive trends, consumer behavior, and emerging fashion influences to keep assortments relevant and compelling.

• 4+ years of apparel buying experience with a vertically integrated retail brand.
• Proven ability to interpret sales and inventory data while maintaining a strong eye for product, fashion trends, and consumer preferences.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with experience balancing financial metrics and merchandising strategy.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where category assignments and priorities may shift.
