$21-$23 (depending on experience)

Restaurant Experience required

Experience in prep, sous, line, menu planning, desserts

As a Chef at The Waters of Eden Prairie you will play a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our residents and guests. You will ensure that high-quality dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner, reflecting our commitment to excellence. Your creativity will shine as you design healthful and beautifully presented menus, collaborating with the Manager of Dining Services for approval. Our restaurant and café operate with the ambience and standards of a hotel or private club, allowing you to showcase your skills in an inviting and elegant setting. To thrive as a Chef at The Waters of Eden Prairie you will need a diverse skill set and a passion for culinary excellence. A High School Diploma or equivalent education is essential, along with a valid Food Services Sanitation Certificate or the ability to obtain one shortly after joining our team. Your expertise in various cooking techniques will allow you to create delectable dishes that cater to our residents' tastes and dietary needs. Additionally, a solid understanding of food control and handling processes is crucial to maintain high standards of safety and quality in our kitchen. Your adaptability, creativity, and attention to detail will ensure that every meal is not only delicious but also aligned with our commitment to healthful living.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Valid Food Services Sanitation Certificate or ability to pass course once employed
• Knowledge of multiple cooking techniques
• Knowledge of food control and food handling processes
