Position: Labor & Delivery / Perinatal RN

Facility: Acute Care Hospital, 266 beds

Start Date: ASAP

Experience: 2 years required

First-Time Travelers: Not accepted

Shift/Unit: L&D / High-Risk

Rooms: 4 Antepartum, 9 Labor/High Risk, 3 Triage

Charting: Epic

On-Call: No

Weekend: Every other weekend

Float: Yes — to Postpartum if needed

Certifications: AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM

ACLS/BLS: AHA certification required

Clinical Skills: Fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy, C-sections, vaginal deliveries

Postpartum: May provide couplet care (mother + newborn) if needed

RTO: Must be submitted with application

License: Pending license not accepted

Local Radius: 50 miles — local rate applies

Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per 2-week pay period

Most Important Screening Points

2+ years L&D experience, Epic, required certifications, C-section/vaginal delivery experience, every-other-weekend availability, and willingness to float to Postpartum.
