Who You Are You are a Senior Android Engineer with a strong foundation in modern Android development and enterprise software engineering practices. You enjoy solving complex technical challenges while delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-performing mobile applications. You understand the importance of architecture, testing, performance, and user experience in large-scale mobile platforms. You Will Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Android applications. Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, and backend teams. Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning. Build scalable solutions following MVVM architecture patterns. Implement high-quality user experiences using modern Android frameworks. Write maintainable, testable, and performant code. Develop and maintain automated tests. Ensure proper handling of permissions, security, and application lifecycle management. Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices initiatives. Support troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization efforts. You Have 7+ years of professional software development experience. 5+ years developing native Android applications. Strong expertise in Kotlin. Experience with MVVM architecture. Experience consuming REST APIs using Retrofit. Strong understanding of Android application lifecycle and architecture components. Experience with JUnit testing. Experience handling Android permissions and security best practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Kotlin Coroutines and/or RxJava. Jetpack Compose. Dependency Injection frameworks (Hilt, Dagger, or Koin). Jetpack Navigation. CI/CD experience for mobile applications. Previous experience supporting initiatives with JPMorgan Chase. Ideal Candidate Passion for quality and maintainability. Ability to influence technical decisions.
