Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy interventions according to the plan of care to help patients regain functional independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner to ensure seamless care
- Assist with patient and family education to support recovery and understanding
- Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA license in Washington (or ability to obtain before start)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
