Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Huntsville, AL, is looking for a Quality Control Inspector with a proven track record to join our team. We are the leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Schedule: 2-2-3 | 3rd Shift | 7 PM - 7 AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and mechanical inspection of selected product samples.
• Familiar with Microsoft applications
• Utilize such inspection devices as micrometers, testing devices, diameter gauges, and coordinate measuring machine.
• Basic math skills including fractions.
• Good communication skills to interact with production associates.
• Train new associates.
• Perform QC processes for visiting/sales personnel.
• Knowledge of ASTM, NSF, APMO & CSA standards & requirements.
• Keep work area up to 5S Housekeeping & Safety Standards
• Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform job duties.
• Help out in all areas of plant if needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required Ability to work 12 hour night shift Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test
