Claims Processor Pay: $16.58/hour which may be below your state's minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying. Onsite: Must live in or near Lexington, KY Schedule: 7:00am- 3:30pm Monday- Friday About The Claims Processor Role As a member of the team, you will be responsible for performing tasks such as processing claims with specific detailed instructions to eligibility code, rate, and coordination of benefits. You will be offered a competitive salary, benefits, and a supportive team environment Job Details Work schedule is 7:00 until 3:30pm, M-F. Sort, prepare, and scan insurance claims and related documents daily. Enter claim data into client systems throughout the workday. Processing documents by following internal processes and identifying any gaps in required information. Perform repetitive document handling tasks in a fast-paced environment. (removing staples, rubber bands, repairing torn documents, copying document types, and inserting patch sheets to separate claims). Follow mailroom security procedures and all company procedures. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must pass a required drug screening. Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Teams. Must have strong attention to detail. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $29,640-$37,050.
