Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in telemetry located in Johnson City, New York. This position involves providing comprehensive cardiac telemetry care to a diverse patient population. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting evidence-based practice in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend. Duration: 13 weeks starting from 07/20/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months to three (3) years; management experience of zero (0) to three (3) years; five (5) or more years of direct experience; current NYS RN License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); experience in a cardiac telemetry department including skills with TAVR, watchmans, mitral clips, heart catheterizations, preoperative and postoperative open heart transfer, cardiac IV and PO medication administration, and familiarity with cardiac drips such as cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, insulin, anticoagulants, CHF, CP, arrhythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE, post-op CABG, sepsis, PNA, stroke, and related complications.
• Required Skills & Experience: Collaboration, verbal & written communication, judgment and critical thinking, organizational understanding, planning, problem solving, quality, reliability, safety, and risk management.
• Preferred Skills & Experience: Previous clinical experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
• Additional Information: Ensure skills checklists are completed accurately by workers. Confirm cardiac experience with candidates prior to submission and highlight relevant experience in resumes.
