Product Manager

Product Manager is responsible for defining, developing, and delivering digital or technology products that improve the customer shopping experience, support store operations, and drive business growth. The role combines product strategy, stakeholder management, customer focus, and execution. Key Roles and Responsibilities 1. Product Strategy and Vision Define the product vision, goals, and roadmap aligned with Macy's business objectives. Identify customer needs, market trends, and business opportunities. Prioritize features and enhancements that deliver the highest business value. 2. Product Roadmap Management Own the product roadmap from planning through execution. Balance short-term business requirements with long-term strategic goals. Continuously refine priorities based on customer feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input. 3. Customer-Centric Product Development Gather and analyze customer insights. Improve customer experiences across digital platforms, stores, mobile applications, and checkout systems. Drive initiatives that increase customer engagement, loyalty, and satisfaction. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with engineering, UX/UI design, QA, marketing, merchandising, store operations, and business teams. Coordinate efforts across multiple teams to deliver product features successfully. Ensure alignment among stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. 5. Agile Product Delivery Work within Agile/Scrum teams. Manage and prioritize product backlogs. Define user stories and acceptance criteria. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. 6. Data-Driven Decision Making Analyze product performance metrics and customer behavior. Conduct experiments and A/B testing. Use data insights to improve product functionality and business outcomes. 7. Stakeholder Management Communicate product strategy, priorities, and progress to leadership and business partners. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Resolve competing priorities and drive consensus. 8. Technical and Business Translation Translate business requirements into technical requirements for engineering teams. Ensure solutions are technically feasible while meeting customer and business objectives. Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and quality engineering teams. 9. Leadership and Mentoring (Senior Product Managers) Mentor junior product managers and product owners. Lead large cross-functional initiatives. Influence product direction and organizational best practices.
