Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Labor and Delivery Specialty: RN Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal care in a high-volume delivery service License: Registered Nurse license in Texas Certifications: BLS Provider certification from an accepted provider Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Advanced Life Support certification from an accepted provider Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service Description: This is a Level IV Client Designation facility. It consists of 26 Labor-Delivery-Recovery suites, including low intervention rooms. There are 6 C-section suites and 14 triage rooms available. The facility also includes 60 mother-baby couplet rooms and 16 monitored antepartum rooms. This setting serves as both an academic teaching service and accommodates large private obstetrics practices. The facility provides high-risk, fast-paced delivery services, performing over 500 deliveries per month. There is 24-hour in-house attending obstetric coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. A perinatal transport program is also in place. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
