ARMStaffing is looking for a Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care (Night Shift) in Baltimore, Maryland.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required. Up to two pre-approved time-off requests are permitted per contract, with specific restrictions on RTO during peak times.

Job Description

This position focuses on providing respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients at LBH Sinai Hospital. The Respiratory Therapist will support both the Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department populations, collaborating closely with Rapid Response Teams and delivering respiratory support throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatment and procedures to adult and geriatric patients.
• Conduct airway management, including intubation assistance, suctioning, and tracheostomy care.
• Manage ventilator settings and troubleshooting, including BiPAP and CPAP usage.
• Execute chest physiotherapy and arterial blood gas collection and interpretation.
• Support bronchoscopy procedures and collect sputum specimens as needed.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• RRT is preferred; CRT candidates with 5 years of experience may be considered.
